Microsoft- Think Differrent

Hello everyone!

Myself  Vineeth Raj.S from Department of Computer Science of MEA Engineering College.

Writing a blog for the first time.  Anyways, this blog is a part of the process of applying for the post of MSA (Microsoft Student Associate) wherein we are required to express our feelings and opinions on the above topic.

The most essential parts of life are often those which we choose to ignore and take for granted. Like the road we tread on, the very school we attend, the house we live in or the air we breathe. We don’t think much about them, until they are brought to our attention. Similarly, my generation has grown with PCs in computer labs displaying the Win 98 Logo, enabled with MS-Paint, Word, Excel, IE and much more!.
I started to use Microsoft tools along with MS office as I learnt it during the school days. I was in impression along with my friends that: “Computer means Windows”. Later on I learnt about the OS and so on…..I am the witness of Journey of “Windows 97 to Windows 8.1” on the part of user satisfaction. From Desktop to tablet, I have seen many changes in and around the” Windows” of Microsoft. I have also seen role of Microsoft for the benefit of students to make them code writer, technology-aspirant, and designer.

There’s a reason why Microsoft’s Windows OS became this popular. It was because it made great efforts to understand the people’s needs, wants, and were able to give them a suitable interface which they would find really easy and comfortable to work with. It aimed at making life easier, at enabling people to work more freely, because now the computer had become man’s new best friend, sharing his workload at every point. Microsoft has offered to its customers tons of advanced services, tools and applications that are hugely popular worldwide. Microsoft Office definitely deserves a special mention. The popularity of all the MS-Office tools in homes, academics and businesses alike is unbeatable.

Apart from satisfying the communities of office-goers, coders and programmers, Microsoft has not ignored the huge Gaming population with some great action-strategy-shooting gaming series like Crysis, Halo and Age of Empires. Microsoft has recently acquired Nokia, and its products are awaited with great anticipation

As MSA for my college,

  • I would like to organize workshops on the topics like Responsive Web Design, Windows App Development, Social Media use for Learning
  • As an MSA, I want to organize competition for development of small projects based on the “Microsoft Tools”.
  • I am interested to work on “Microsoft Dream Spark” in winter & summer vacation with support from local & expertise NGO.
  •  As an MSA, I would like to create an interactive platform using “Sky Drive” Cloud for sharing inquiries to make study more enjoyable
I am eager to become an MSA to know the solutions of the toughest problems of the “common student” like me during the learning process with Microsoft as it is with me always..

Being an MSA
I think that being a MSA I will have a lot of responsibilities. If I get a chance to working as a MSA I hav lot of plans to do for society.I will do these plans with my complete enthusiasm for technology and I will try my maximum to realise my plans successfully for create a better social impact.
Being a MSA my ultimate aim is showing a new way for the bright future of students especially in rural areas and economically backward.I will try to rise them without considering their stream of study.I want bring the students infront of world who are capable to lead technology of next generation and make them capable to gain a amazing career more than they dreamed.I planned my ideas to organise step by step.

Thank You!!
